Are you ready for cloud?

We’re bringing together leaders in manufacturing, construction and energy to talk about their projects, including an in-flight technical uplift from Apps 10 to Cloud and a completed re-implementation from Apps 7.5.

We’ll also hear from an IFS Consultant who specialises in manufacturing and supply chain on the features and functionality of Cloud vs Apps 10.

Change Talks is home to optimistic, ambitious leaders. Relax, eat, and enjoy the conversation. You’re in great company.

We invoke the Chatham House Rule to encourage free discussion. There’s only one Rule: everyone can share what’s said but can’t reveal the identity of the person who said it.

Future features in Cloud

Craig Parkinson on the future of Cloud
Craig is an independent IFS Consultant specialising in manufacturing and supply chain. He’ll talk about the future for IFS Cloud.

What people said about the last ChangeTalk:

“I found it very useful, it was enlightening – and it was a non-sales like environment. It seemed like people were prepared to tell it warts and all. Refreshing.”

”I found out how other businesses are leveraging IFS Cloud to solve different problems. Many of the comments led to learnings that could be applied at our company.”

”It was a good insightful event and I liked hearing stories from other IFS customers on how their transition to Cloud was handled.”

Food for thought

Starter: A selection of “the freshest sushi in Berkshire”
Main: Saikyo Yaki Black Cod (GF) – Black Cod Marinated in Sweet Miso, Grilled and Roasted, Hajikami Pickled Ginger
Desert: Hurley House Tiramisu (V)

Between courses we will discuss:
The key considerations in deciding the optimal timing and route to Cloud

  • Your current version of IFS and how well it meets your business needs now and future
  • The state of the data
  • The amount and type of customisations and whether these are superseded by new features in Cloud

The route to Cloud, technical uplift vs. reimplementation?

  • Technical uplift gets you there faster but shifts more cost, time and effort to after go-live.
  • Re-implementation requires more cost, time and effort up front. It can take longer to get to Cloud, but the business will realise the benefits earlier.
